Service · Straight Razor, The Traditional Way
Price
$45
30 minutes
A straight razor does in one pass what a five-blade cartridge does in four, which is why your neck is not raw afterwards. The hot towels open everything up first, the lather goes on warm, and the blade follows the grain instead of fighting it.
Thirty minutes, $45. It is the most relaxing half hour most of our clients have all week, and that is not an accident — it is the point.
Tell us before we start. Irritation and ingrown hairs usually come from a blade dragging across skin that was not prepared, or from shaving against the grain on a neck that cannot take it. Both are avoidable, and a proper prep is most of the fix.
A lot of clients book the shave on its own as a reset. Others add it after a haircut before an event. Either works — just tell us when you book so we hold the right amount of time.
How long does it take?
Thirty minutes. The prep is half of it, and the prep is why the result is different from shaving at home.
Will it irritate my skin?
It should not. Most irritation comes from poor prep or from going against the grain on skin that cannot handle it. Tell your barber if you are prone to razor burn or ingrown hairs and we will adjust the approach.
How often can I get one?
Most clients come in every two or three weeks, or before something that matters. There is no reason you cannot come more often than that if you like it.
Can I get this with a haircut?
Yes. Mention it when you book so we hold the extra half hour.
